CrossFit Fundamental Classes
You’ll be participating in Fundamental Community classes utilizing the info outlined below.
CrossFit Fundamentals is your starting point for learning everything you need to feel confident and safe in class. Think of it as your roadmap to fitness—where we teach you the basics of how to squat, press, pull, and move like an athlete, even if you’re brand new.
In this program, you’ll:
✔ Master Proper Form – Learn the key movements like squats, deadlifts, presses, and core stability to keep you strong and injury-free.
✔ Understand Functional Fitness – These movements are the foundation of CrossFit and help you move better in everyday life—lifting groceries, chasing kids, climbing stairs.
✔ Learn Scaling & Modifications – Every workout can be adjusted to your current fitness level, so you’ll never feel out of place.
✔ Build Confidence for Class – By the end, you’ll know the fundamentals and feel ready for any workout.
No experience? No problem. Sweat & Social is fun, beginner-friendly, and a great way to connect with others while starting your fitness journey!
What to expect?
Workouts can be adjusted in weight, intensity, and certain mechanics to scale to the experience and fitness levels of any individual, be it a total fitness beginner or elite competitive CrossFitter.
CrossFit is designed to be constantly varied, meaning everyday is different so you never get bored. All workouts are based on the core movements of life, and these movements reflect the best aspects of gymnastics, weightlifting, rowing and more.
All of our CrossFit Classes are coach-led and follow a planned progression roughly 60 minutes in duration and follow this basic structure:
A certified coach will guide you through warming up, followed by movement instruction and demonstration for the workout. The Coach will supervise and correct any movement performed by you during the workout.
Prerequisites
